I'm thinking about selling my 1982 Murena 1.6 so I thought I'd let you guys know as there seems to be some interest in them.
It's a 1982 model,Belgian spec car and it is the Exec model which had tinted glass, electric windows, and alloys wheels which were normally extras on a 1.6 model. I attach a few photos.
The trailing arms were replaced in 2007, and it had a new clutch in March 2012. The recorded mileage is around 160k kilometres.
It had one owner for many years and his father was apparently a Simca mechanic. It's now UK registered (MOT until July 2017; no advisories last time). I had it inspected by Roy Gillard (chairman of the UK Matra Enthusiasts Club) and everything he spotted has been fixed (new driveshaft gaiter, new throttle cable, electrical issues fixed) plus an oil and filter change and carb setup; it now runs very nicely.
I'm only selling because I have more cars than space or time (and yet another one has come up). There are very, very few of these for sale in the UK and most of them have been modified (fine if you like that sort of thing, but I generally don't!).
