Mods please remove if want  Need your advice guys. Spainish car. My son is chasing an AUDI A8 4.2 QUATTRO PETROL 6 SPEED AUTO AIR SUSPENSION MINT BLACK FULL SPEC FULL HISTORY 450,000KM kILOMETERS!!!!! Car has one owner a Bank and used every day to take documents from Granada to Madrid and back next day. don't know the year but its not that old. They're lovely to ride in and alarmingly/ surprisingly quick, a friends one destroyed auto gearboxes in an expensive manner a couple of times and was ultimately the reason he sold it.
Possibly speed limited at 155mph too.

Thanks Dodgerover. He asked me what I thought and I havent got a clue. Yeah nice car but not for me. Personally I think its too much dosh but looking in the Spainish papers its cheap all tho nothing with that kind of milage. As I said I havent a clue and thought it would be better asking you younger guys for advice |

It all depends on the model really. Over here you used to be able to pick up the S8 in an early model for quite cheap and from what I remember they were 400bhp or something crazy, double glazing, fridges, all sorts of kit in them.
I am a huge Audi fan to be honest. I have a 3.2 V6 TT and an 8P A3 and I think they're both fantastic so I can only imagine that the A8 is also a fantastic piece of kit.
I know that the S4 came with a 4.2 N/A or a 2.7 bi-turbo. I wonder if the S4 4.2 engine is the same 4.2 that is in the A8?

what year is it?
1st gen v8 is 300 or 310 bhp, S8 was 340 and later 360.
2nd gen V8 was 340-350 bhp but the S8 was then a 5.2 v10 and 444 bhp.
that V8 is close to the S6 V8, S4 used a 40 valve similar to the second generation I think.
