Could have looked nicer though. those headlights need to be more like the original OB Bedford

It's that fugly bullnose (presumably to accommodate some massive Cummins lump) that ruins the custom one for me! It's lost the perfect proportions of the original.

I think if you had those deep pockets, wanted something unique and liked the fusion of original styling with modern fitments, creature comforts & technology then this is the motorhome for you.
It's been on the market for a few years, they can't sell it and the price has dropped somewhat from it's original asking price so keep watching ....

ive been watching this for about 2 years now and couldn't put my finger on why it didn't look quite right and as you say its the bonnet, and now looking closer the wheels are far too small? still a fab bit of kit though and I would like it!

Notice how small the arches are compared to original? Makes it look quite lardy and ungainly. Also the front end does it no favours at all. If I could afford something like that, it would have to look like an OB ,and the change in arch shape, front end shape and headlight position is enough to take away its 'want' factor for me.

Its been build around an Iveco Daily chassis, 16" wheels likely smaller than the bus would have had

The bonnet treatment reminds me of an early 50's Saurer coach

Yes a bit... Though I do like the appropriately curved veneer cabinetry, shame they didn't stick to that style more. & the sunroof Though certainly not the ghastly stupid head rests everywhere.

To be fair, if you were lashing out this sort of money on a toy for the annual Le Mans trip then with a bit of ingenuity, and a few quid, I'm sure the front end could be improved. The lights are on a bar, as per the originals, so they could be moved back up. The nose just doesn't follow the old lines which is why to me, it looks a bit odd. The bonnet should be more horizontal and the front more rounded. Maybe a play there could help, as I think it's shape rather than size causing the problem? As to the headrests, well, perhaps another case of Kronenbourg 1664 chould help there? Would I kick it out of bed? Nah, don't think so, but it would have to wear these wheels though.
