I do love these vans.
Missed out on one that I was going to buy recently as it had been sold, was a good van, no keys and papers, but only 29k miles or something silly.
Regarding those wheels, I think paint is a good option as they are probably past their best by date.

so many wheel wins in one post! totally against my normal instinct I would go with white on the smoothies.

Hi mate
I really like your van. It looks amazing!
Are you sure you wanna go flat/mat white? It's very hard to keep clean.
The gold wheels will look good on your van. The other ones don't do it for me. However I have been proven wrong many times and it's your busje!!

thanks, both sets will probably be white center and polished edge.
i know matte white gets dirty quick but i don't drive it that much (2500km a year) its parked in my garage most days and i don't drive it when its winter or when the wheater is bad.
its my first time dipping i thought it would be smarter to try an easy/cheap/safe color first. next year or the one after that i will try a nice colorshift or chameleon dip.

i finaly plasti dipped the van matte white it was a cool experiance using the plasti dip for the first time as you can see it easily peels of i could ,if i want to remove the whole dip from the van just like the handels. it doesnt leave a trace and the paint underneath it stays intact made some pictures from it its not finished yet , i have to spray the bumpers/grill/headlightcovers etc black again to and some other small things there is some texture on it but i don't mind that, thats what you get using plastidip. i realy liked dipping the litle van. although i would do some things different next time it was an interesting job. some spots that i worked one still shine trough and i am going solve that be adding grey and black arctic camo next year. i like this style and am going to copy it

I wasnt satisfied with the polishing on the wheels so i went full white on them. I also sprayed the black parts mat black again so that looks nice and tidy again. Took it for a litle drive yesterday for the first time in 3 months and made some pictures. it looks like a scale model to give you an idea how small it is, here are the dimensions

Hi joehoe, The van is looking really good, do you have any photos of the areas you welded after they were finished? I am actually about to pick up a 1994 Suzuki Super Carry this week to replace my 2002 Suzuki Carry and was wondering how you got on with the cut springs on the front of this? Do you know how many coils you cut and how did it affect the ride? Couple of the other users vans on here have had custom struts made for the front end and it sounds like there are lot of issues with travel distance? Keep up the good work. Jack
