My father passed away 6 years ago and, i have stored some tools from him, couldn't bring myself in sorting them out, until today. Sifting through his stuff i came upon a little wooden box with some weird thing inside, i cant remember my father ever seeing using this tool. So i am asking if anyone of the old guys (no offense please) can tell me wat it is . Its old, real old i guess

I would say that's a valve seat cutter, based on something similar I recently saw for sale in the back if the latest issue of Mini Magazine ( check it out in the newsagent ). The attachments are for different angles depths etc I think. God knows what it's for or if it's universal or bespoke for a certain manufacture. I'm guessing it's pre 1970. Just my two pence worth I could be wrong but maybe Google valve seat cutter to see if its similar

My first thought was that it is probably a tap reseating tool. Skkylinedave could also be correct though.

What sort of sizes/ diameter are they? Better photos with the tool disassembled? Doesn't look like a valve seat cutter to me.
