Datsun 120Y estate, original 1171cc A12 engine, first registered 01/08/1975 (registered as historic).
MOT runs out in Feb but I'll put a new one on it anyway including any jobs that need doing. Mileage at present is 76300 but still in use.
Based in Exeter, Devon
£3000 ono (the n stands for "near" not "nowayimpayingthatillofferaquarterofthatprice")
Contact o7939o64754/stephenmottram@hotmail.co.uk
EDIT- I'll consider a PX/swap but only if it is an interesting campervan.
So some of you on here know this vehicle, if you google image search Datsun 120Y estate there are plenty pictures of this car. Since getting it from Datman last year it has started and run perfectly every time I use it, which is often and always. Works done over the year have been a complete inner and outer sill on the passenger side, passenger floor pan patched up (Wifey did not like seeing the road from inside...) and a complete, new stainless exhaust. The pie dish hubcaps kept flying off so I painted the 12" steels black instead, I still have three hubcaps and Datman has new and second hand ones if you prefer.
Good bits:It's cool as beans. Good engine. Rare as poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo. Solid and honest Datsun with history.
Bad bits:Bodywork is a bit tatty (as I said an honest driveable car, not gonna win any shows), rust coming through in places (anything caught by an MOT will be dealt with), drivers seat has seam tears. Clock has stopped working. Did I mention it's cool as beans?
Here's a link that has the story of this vehicle from Datman finding it in a barn to present.
Feel free to contact me for any more pictures or info.
