Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you all know about a new product Adrian Flux Insurance is now offering – it’s called “Roadhalo”. It costs just £19.99 and provides expert legal assistance and advice in the event of you being prosecuted of a driving conviction. For lesser driving offences, the team of specialist solicitors will help you through the conviction process and advise you if there is a course available rather than points and fine.
The legal team behind “Roadhalo” have a proven record of reducing the severity of your punishment if there are mitigating circumstances. You also get representation in court up to £25,000 in a worst case scenario. It covers you in any car you are driving and you can buy it on its own or as an extra to your motor insurance policy through Adrian Flux.
You may have read similar stories in the papers where celebrities and sportsmen were able to successfully contest certain motoring offences, this is no longer a service just for the rich and famous.
Regards

Seeing how useless you are sorting a non fault claim of my car being hit while parked, i'd rather take my chances on my dog representing me in court.

And this is different from legal protection offered (and always declined) by most other insurance companies how?

And this is different from legal protection offered (and always declined) by most other insurance companies how? errr, because its got the word halo in it, which suggests ethereal protection and holiness, and thus superior?

Because it's for if you get caught speeding etc. And not crashing into someone. Unless I read it incorrectly.

Judging from the damning responses Dan gets swamped with every time he posts something about the latest services from Adrian Flux (which he has done periodically since 2012), I would gently suggest he refrains from social media in future - Personally speaking, said responses would certainly drive me away from, rather than towards signing up.
If he worked for my company's marketing team he'd have been fired the 3rd time for not learning.

If he worked for my company's marketing team he'd have been fired the 3rd time for not learning. Good observation. However, if he works in the industry they are probably feeling the pinch of smaller and independant agencies. So they need to find more ways into our pockets. All the costs they add like admin costs etc is driven by corporate greed. Like £10, 15, 30 for an address change etc. Take a look at the pic below. Quote came through my door 20 minutes ago from AF. Interestingly, I specifically told the dolly bird (she was nice enough) on the phone there are no modifications. She has added alloys and a fcucking rear wing. WTF ?? Also got the form of the car wrong. Like Truck vs Coupe vs Estate vs Sedan. So is the quote accurate ?? Its certainly £60.00 more than AIB like for like. And should I drive a Truck and break down, crash etc and the documents indicate Coupe, would that give them grounds to tell me to het stuffed? Just wondering. PS. Thats why I insist on papers by mail. Just to claw 50p back.

I reckon that Dan is a masochist and likes posting stuff on here as he knows he is going to get his head kicked in...Either that or an extremely slow learner. Cut the crepe, offer good value for money insurance, forget the gimmicks, stop dicking people around and your turnover will improve.

I used Flux, they weren't cheap but at the time were all I could find to cover my car. Set the date two weeks ahead for Mot day, paperwork comes through, all wrong, wanting pictures, my licence, and 3 utility bills. Now I do everything by email so I would have struggled there, so when I rang to correct the many mistakes not only did they try and jack up the price because they didn't listen the first time around, they accused me of being a liar for not having much paper evidence of where I lived. I told them to shove it as I was still in my 14 day cooling off period but no no, muchos small print dictated something or other that I had I to pay a cancellation fee for a policy that wasn't accurate that hadn't started yet. So Flux, you suck balls, and Halifax not only halved the quote, they spoke to me like a human and not a disobedient dog.

exactly, if you didn't read the small print (example grizzs spoiler and alloys) and just paid, you have then green lit a fraudulent cover. my mate got stung by that, no refund on cancellation, had to pay THEM and loose remaining months.
as i said before, the single biggest thing that would secure my returning custom is not gimmicky addons, but simply a reward for me being loyal to your pointless irritating license to print money company. in actual fact it goes up 30 to 60 quid a year and if you nudge them about it they just give you some bllox about IPT going up, or industry trend increases. yet as we all know, go on comparetheconfusedmoonpigsupermarket.com you get umpteen cheaper quotes more often than not one of them is your broker.
and that why i am no longer with flux. you can go flux yourself

I was once sold a fully comp policy, my paperwork said fully comp, however when I was in an unfortunate enough position to need to claim I was told that my policy was TPF&T. After much arguing with them I was informed the premium I had paid was TPF&T and not fully comp and therefore I was not entitled to the FC privileges, despite it being sold to me as such and listed on my paperwork.
After 4 solid hours of arguing we did settle things. Eventually.
