Hi all, been on the forum for a couple of years now, mostly lurking and admiring all the amazing cars on here but thought it's time to share my own little retro ride! Passed my test in August so this is my *first car. I've always been interested in classic cars from a very young age and wanted to get a MK1 for my first since I turned 17. After a bit of saving (now 19), I jumped at the chance to own this in April: a 1979 Fiesta Base
As a bit of a project car, I had plenty of time to get it ready for the road. Then... just afterwards, my (now) current fiesta popped up and was too tempting for me to pass up. Here are both of them together:
As much as I loved the blue one, this one had far less miles with the same engine and spec so was much better for me to use as a regular car.
Fast forward to today and I've really enjoyed driving her so far, it runs lovely and passed its MOT last Wednesday.
She is a 1980 Base model in Venetian Red with vinyl seats, 38k miles on the clock and 2 previous owners.
Thanks for looking,
Ryan.
