The wheels have now all been blasted along with the centre caps. They're generally in good condition with minor curbing which has easily sanded out, apart from this one A bit of the rim missing Normally I wouldn't like to repair this sort of damage, but as the wheels aren't that cheap or easy to come across I decided to repair it. Especially as I'm going to be running 60 profile tyres with lots of give and that the damage isn't near where the tyre seats. First stage was degrease the area and apply some masking tape to resemble the shape required Then got the q bond out and put a small layer of the metal powder in the gap And then applied the liquid glue I then repeated this process until the gap was filled and slightly proud of the rim And then removed the masking tape ready for a quick sand and fine coat of dolphin glaze before primer, which I hope to do tomorrow.

Those wheels sure are sexy. I've a 14" set, I polished the face of one and it looks stunning. Not so sure what to do with the centre caps though!

If they're alloy I'd paint the rs in the centre then Polish the rest of the cap. If they're plastic I'm not sure what I'd do, it's a tricky one.

Got the tyres on yesterday, beads didn't want to pop at first but got there in the end. Was going to balance them but we had run out of sticky weights and I don't fancy having hammer on ones on these! So really setting the beads was a waste of time as I'm planning on breaking them again to paint the faces. This is the one we started to balance, balance was only slightly out but run out was off due to a small buckle that you can see. I'm going to put it on the back and see how it is, otherwise I'll have to track down another alloy.

Changed the title a little as foldy and I had the exact same title, I got a bit confused when my thread said it had 4 pages.

what silver did you use to spray them??? I've done them in Ford Dark shadow grey, it's quite a course metallic. It took me a while to decide on a colour, I wanted them to be grey and course, but not so dark that they look black.

Lovely Fiesta! 👍🏻
Fiestas always bring back childhood memory's as my Mom would only buy Fords, especially Fiestas (the only deviation being a Mk2 Focus and a new B-max currently) and her '86 C reg is a spitting image of yours.

Thanks! I do love a Ford, around half of my cars have been ford's, generally the best ones, bar a focus ST with driveshaft issues. Saying that I currently have a Vauxhall daily.
