Nissan Terrano R3M
So, I’m popping this up for sale to lack of use and lack of space. I’m pretty attached to it so I’m not overly fussed if it sells or not but I’m keen for it to get regularly used by someone who’ll continue to look after her.. I’ve booked it in for the polybushes/tracking to be done after Xmas so if I’ve still got it by then I’ll keep it. So this will only be available for 3 weeks or so.
Basics:
Make: Nissan
Model: Terrano R3M (WD21)
Colour: Green/Gold
Year: 1993
Engine size: 2660 (TD27T)
Fuel type: Diesel
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 68350ish (showing around 110k km)
MOT: 11/05/17
Registered in UK: 05/09/03
Price: £1750
Location: Norwich
Contact:PM me for contact details.
Paperwork: V5 in my name, various invoices through the years.
Drivetrain:
The WD21 has a cracking TD27T which is a pretty bombproof engine, I’ve had it fully serviced including water pump and it runs a treat. Pulls well with its 159lb-ft of torque. Lovely low mileage motor that starts first time every time, no matter how cold or how long you don't start it for!
It’s got an automatic gearbox with overdrive which has also been serviced and has an additional aftermarket transmission cooler. This thing gives a lovely ride and is a great cruiser, whether A or B roads or motorways. There is a knock at full lock on the driver side front wheel that has been attributed to a bush. Hence I have bought a full polybush kit that is due to be fitted after xmas. These trucks also have LSD so are extremely capable when the weather gets nasty. It’s had a new exhaust prior to the last owner selling it to me and I’ve replaced the down pipe. I’ve put new rear brake pads on her. She has selectable 2WD and high and low 4WD, all functioning as they should.
Interior:
Inside is like a time warp of early 90’s goodness, lovely condition seats, really comfy. Huge amounts of room when the back seats are folded down fully flat.
A couple imperfections, previous owner cracked the Gear selector surround and removed the speedo plastic. Aside from that it’s a lovely place to be.
I’ve put a new speedo fascia in to replace a broken needle courtesy of the former owner and due to it reading the speed in KPH, I’ve fitted a GPS speedo. There is a bluetooth headunit currently installed that I’ll leave in for the full asking price.
Exterior:
This truck is rather unique looking, most people assume it’s an American make of some sort, it’s a rather fetching classic Japanese two tone paint scheme, Green and Gold. A lot of the advertising for this truck originally showed the Terrano in this guise.
Overall the paint is in great nick, the bonnet homes a couple of patches of lacquer peel and a blemish on the passenger wing. Lastly there is a scab at the rear of the cill, though completely solid. This truck was imported in 2003 and the chassis has been regularly undersealed to preserve the cracking condition. Look on the MOT history to view not one structural corrosion advisory. I also have the spare wheel carrier that goes on the back of the truck. There is also a tow bar, very heavy duty by the looks of it.
The driver side handle has broken off however I have a spare one in immaculate condition and in the mean time the door can still be opened as normal.
Wheels/Tyres:
The wheels and tyres are brand new, less than 100 miles on them. 31x10.5 r15 Cooper Discover AT3 on Steel rims, suit it a treat and were an original tyre size so work a charm with gearing and diff etc. Also included is a original sets of alloys, with off road worthy tyres.
Summary:
So in short, it’s been/being well looked after by me and by the previous owners and I’m keen for this to continue and luckily I’m in a position to be picky with who I sell to.
Having said that, to the right buyer, there is a mass of spares included, ranging from JDM alloys, Polybushes, Intercooler/intake manifold to convert this, and I’ll fill the whole truck up with spares, some spare glass too.
A great truck all in all.
Feel free to ask any questions, I always miss something.
More pictures tomorrow.
