![]() 1977 Morris Marina 1.8 saloon project for sale , was bought with good intentions of getting it on the road but as i work two jobs i rarely got the chance to work on it with other commitments , and now i've moved out of my parents house i have nowhere to keep it close and came to the conclusion that I'm never going to get it finished , runs and drives but as its a project needs work , new clutch servo fitted , s/steel exhaust ,needs new speedo drive which i have but just not fitted , needs a new propshaft bearing which i have but it isnt upto much , and as you can imagine needs odds and sods , the body work isnt bad recently repaired the floorpan , the only really bad part is the back valance , mileage is around 70,000 but whether thats true or not i cant verify ,last MOT ended in 2013 , asking £600 or nearest but I'm not in a hurry to get rid so don't be too cheeky ![]()

I know I'm gutted I'm not getting to do it myself had big plans for it , was thinking it would look good with bolt on arches , lowered , banded steels and an external oil cooler but hey that's just me

Agreed on the banded wheels - there's plenty of room for width before arches would be required though. slater certainly squeezed some girth under the arches of his old van.

Swaps for '89 EA Falcon wags with a dodgy trans that won't hook reverse? Nah mate, just kidding, I'm in New Zealand so too far away. If I was in Britain I'd be keen though. Still pi55ed off at my uncle for selling Grandpa's mint low mileage Marina for sod all.

Probably more than you think. They were sold new here right through the '70s and into the early '80s, pretty much until the end of production I think. Haven't driven one in about thirty years but as I recall they go pretty hard for what they are.
