Hi, I bought this E28 recently for my girlfriend as for some bizarre reason it's incredibly cheap to insure. It's a 1987 m20 engined 5 series with 5 speed manual gearbox. Unfortunately my girlfriend prefers her Volvo 360 so would like to sell the E28.

It's far from mint, the chrome on the rear bumper has started to rust and the edges of the front valance are a bit bubbly but that just makes it more usable as a daily driver. The interior is pretty good, the cloth seats are good but the drives seat has some bolster wear. The dash is good and uncracked.
It's a reasonably good running reliable car, I had a few niggles when I bought it and replaced a few parts such as the rocker cover gasket, a perished fuel hose, viscous fan, air flow meter, silencer, spark plugs, air filter, fuel pump relay, diff mount bush and replaced the metric wheels for some 14" bbs alloys.
I carried out a couple of small welding repairs to the front wings, one on the bottom near the sill and another on the inner wing where there was a hole. the repairs look ok.

The car has a couple of issues which need addressed, The idle is too high, it Idles at around 1250 rpm which is down to a suspected vacuum leak, There's some vibration through the steering at 60 mph, it's fine above or below that speed but is noticeable at 60. The exhaust system is loud and needs renewed.
