I purchased this little motor a few months ago. It had been in a portal frame building with concrete floor for at least 6 years but still started easily with a battery change.
So far it has benefited:
- Front Brake pads & discs
- Front shock absorbers
- new oil filter & oil change
- Ignition system (New sparks, HT leads, Dizzy cap & rotor arm)
- New spare tyre
- Nearside wheel bearing
- New windscreen wipers & arms
- New suspension arm ball joints
- new rear brake line
Also a full valet.

The body of the vehicle is in very good condition, the underside is completely solid and the engine runs well. The interior is in very good condition although the door cards are scratched. The body work comes in the traditionally faded red paintwork that we all know and love. The worst affected area is the nearside wing.
The vehicle can take a while to start when cold but it does always start.
The two worst points are that it still needs an offside bearing (It is very loud but there is NO play) and either a clutch cable (current one is not adjustable) or a clutch although it isn't slipping it's just very stiff. The boot also needs new hydraulic arms.
This is a reluctant sale but the original plan was to share it with someone who has now lost interest.
My asking price covers the cost of the car and all of the work that has been carried out, I have all paperwork of all the work carried out in my ownership however there is no service history prior to when I bought it.
