For sale "Gerald the herald" a 1968, triumph herald 13/60 saloon
93,000 miles, mot mid march 2017.
He was owned by an elderly lady for its middle 35 years till said lady had to give up driving.
In cherry red (sort of burgundy/maroon) with excellent biscuit vinyl interior, recent seat diaphragms and carpet set (150 quid spent)
Body is relatively solid with some frilly rust round the front arches and a grotty bit in the passengers side lower rear quarter.... In essence its a shabby chic rolling project but presentable enough.
Chassis has been well looked after but will probably need a couple of small patch repairs for the next mot
Used daily for a 50 mile round trip so its reliable, ive covered 3000 miles in the last 3 months alone, being a 1360 it can hold its own well against modern traffic and has disc brakes as standard.
Further upgrades to make it more useable include halogen headlamps and electronic ignition.
Its a rolling resto but very useable and just try buying an anglia or imp for this money.... It wont be mot'd or pretty lol
If i get the asking price or very near it, i will include £120 quids worth of mainly new old stock parts ive acquired for it (proper monroe shocks, stanpart water pump, engine mounts and polybushes for shocks and steering rack)
I'm near wells in Somerset
I'm asking £1360 or very near offer
