Ello folks
I'm currently using Tradex/Clegg Gifford Family Fleet type policy - basically anycar regd to me. I only have 3 cars at the mo so it's maybe overkill, and is due for renewal. Any suggestions on who else to try for 3 classics aka daily runners.? Cheers

Your current insurance sounds like the sort of thing I was after. Just how expensive is it ?
I looked round and the only thing I could find offering any sort of useful discount was if all the cars were the same make.

cmon folks, must be a few of you insuring multiple cars. Are there no options anyone can suggest please? Do you just insure each one individually? Who's best for that?

I've got my 205 GTI & the XJR on a classic car policy with Footman James. Give them a call and speak to them. I've found them excellent over the years.

Sometimes its cheaper to have three different polices. you need to ring around for quotes.

Works out cheaper for me/us/we to have 4 policies with different companies, rather than entertaining a "multi-car" affair..

After years having 2 seperate policies, i have funnily enough doubled the number of cars i have and still have 2 policies. Main one is mainly for the wife and daughter, but the second is a multicar policy with Aviva for my Focus and 2 Mondeos. Each car gains its own NCD but I'm paying about £800 that will reduce when i renew next month. All the very best, Geoff.

£800 for any cars sounds good to me even if it's just 3 currently.
Dependent on cars you can insure on classic policies but some aren't tailored to having the car as a daily e..g commuting ncb mileage.

I have 3 cars but found it cheaper to go with three separate policies, all with different insurers. It works out cheaper than one multi-policy. I'm guessing it's because different insurers have different ideas what they want to insure.

I'm with NFU. Three cars (Discovery, Smart & Skoda Fabia) was just over £600 (fully comp & protected no claims). There again I'm an old flatulence

Might look into this. I have an XJ8 and my Capri insured at the moment, looking to insure the track mx5 in a few months, and the wife has her J van. All on seperate policies...
