BMW E34 525i Sport 24v - Genuine Factory Sport
12 Months MOT
Rare 5 Speed Manual
Diamond Black Metallic with Full Black Recaro Sports Leather
189k Miles with Excellent Service History - over £6k in Bills and Receipts, with £3k spent since 2009
Just had £350 Welding, New Front Tyres, New Wipers, New Number Plates for the MOT
Almost every MOT since new, 2 Keys and Remote Fobs, BMW Folder, BMW User Manuals and Handbook, Service Booklet with 22 Stamps.
Runs well, with plenty of pull from the M50 engine. There is a weep on the rocker cover gasket, which is a common issue on the M50 and also noted on the MOT advisory.
OSR arch has some rust, near to where the welding was required. Rust spots on a couple of the arches and on the sunroof surrounding area. Stone chips, marks and blemishes as to be expected for a 24 year old E34. If you want a mint one, try the well-known Old Colonel Classics and pay over £7k for it!
Apart from a couple of M badges front and rear (not to my taste, but someone has superglued them on), the car is totally original, wearing the correct 15" BBS alloy wheels, full M-Tech body kit and full black recaro leather. New BMW wheel badges fitted.
Everything works as it should, and there are currently no warning lights on the dash. Air con isn't ice cold, so will probably require a regas (not needed for this weather!).
If you wish to check out the MOT history and any advisories (there are a few from this time round), the registration number is: J686 WRD
I'd say spend a little time and effort getting any minor issues addressed, and that's no doubt a surefire future classic. Perfectly useable as is.
It's a very rare car, and you can imagine how nice and ahead of the competition it was back in 1992.
