Hi all. Has anyone heard of or bought Supersport suspension before?? They are only £185 for 4 sports shocks and springs!! Apparently they are German made (by Spax so I've heard!!). Many thanks - Nobby!

As far as i know Spax is still in Bicester in Oxfordshire where they make there own stuff , i don't know if this stuff is linked with them . It could be made by them , it does not need to be made in Germany for TUV approval just certified by them . Alternatively it could be made there and nothing to do with them .
TUV approval is a good indication that it is made to some sort of good standard , whether it lasts who knows ...

After a few minutes poking it does seem they are linked with spax in some way .

The Supersport company is located in Germany which imports suspension parts from China and sells them under their label. I had springs and shocks in my MK3 Golf, they were around 170€ on ebay a couple of years ago. I covered the parts with a layer of wax before mounting and they were still in decent nick two years later when I sold the car (it was used in winter on salty roads). But: The suspension was way to hard for my taste. Boy-racer hard. Very uncomfortable. If you can deal with that, go for it.

Thanks for your help and comments everyone!!
Perhaps I'll give these a miss then and spend a bit more for a set of Spax!??
