So this little car I bought on a whim, sadly it failed it's mot a few months later (end of September) and I don't have the time to sort it out. It's a 2000 Subaru Justy, those who don't know there were basically Suzuki Swifts with a Subaru variable AWD system, using a viscous clutch. So basically a quite nippy little fwd with 4x4 if it needed it. On the skinny little tyres it was actually really fun on mud and gravel. Very basic spec, pas about the only luxury. Brand new front discs and pads when I got it so only done 3k, and irritatingly a new radiator for the mot. The failures were - simple ones - front plate, fuel cap seal and wipers. Bad ones were two patches needed on sills, two on rear subframe and engine emissions too high. We could not get the emissions down low enough so I didn't do the welding. Suspect cat or a sensor. Also had an advisory for the exhaust which is a total bodge job and would need replacing.
Could be a cool little easy project or a good 4x4 base for something daft like a mini or trabant. Will drive quite happily but obviously *should* be trailored on trade plates. Would be nice not to scrap it as there are barely any around but I don't have time to sort it out myself. £150 or talk to me! Down in Dorset, just off from Wareham.
