The time has come where the house comes before old fords, wrong i know but needs must.
This sale is for one of my old fords i will be selling so keep your eye on my items over the next week or so.
MK5 cortina 2 litre turbo rwd.
With 12 months mot.
The engine only has run in miles on it and has been set up with a limiter to do so, and is ready to have the limiter taken off ready for fun, so never raced or rallied. (yet).
The engine has mahle low compression pistons 9.6 ratio.
cosworth L6 brain, live mapped by pj motorsport , big valve head cam, cosworth t3 turbo and inter cooler, ap racing clutch, cosworth yellow injectors, sierra efi inlet manifold, rs exhaust manifold s2 rs turbo exhaust system roll tip modified to fit with an escort cosworth down pipe. Alloy radiator with an electric fan on a separate switch. The ecu is located in the glove box this is also on a separate switch for security purposes, Also has a toad alarm immobiliser with 2 fobs . Please do not mistake this for a bodge job everything that has been done is to a very high standard.
5 speed type 9 gearbox with a quick shift lever with an electronic speedo.
The brakes have also been uprated to willwood 4 pot calipers along with drilled and grooved discs all purchased new with all the bills to prove this.
The car is fully polly bushed front to rear .
The fuel tank has been removed and fitted with an alloy fuel cell in the boot along side a cosworth fuel pump.
The shell its self has covered around 50000 miles from new and the engine is freshly built as i say with 1200 miles to run it in the car is rot free and never been welded please come and have a look for yourself.
The only rust is on the inner rail on the drivers wing ( not the rail itself) as you can see in the under bonnet picture, the wing has been off the car so the body seal is missing on the front valance to wing, iv left it like this as i have a new wing for it that can go with the car. I'm being really fussy, the wing on the car will repair, and i also have the correct drivers seat to go with the car.
The car looks very standard at a glance apart from the later ford escort wheels which are powder coated graphite grey.
I also have lots of paperwork with the car including a folder full off receipts totaling up into thousands and have the original hand book and books from the dealer.
