I purchased this about a month ago on eBay while looking for an intercooler .... as you do ! Its Volvo Wagon's that float my boat normally but I saw this and had a must have moment. However, reality dawned after getting it home that I really do have too many projects on the go to realistically get around to finishing this off any time soon so sadly it's up for sale.
As you can see it's been dropped and thats what needs sorting, its too low in my opinion so my original plan was to bang an air ride kit on her which would make for one killer ride.
It's had 2 new front wings (so no normal W124 rust) and a £4500 complete re-paint, a custom made stainless steel Powerflow exhaust system and it rides on a set of Merc style OZ Racing Split rims with almost new tyres. The seats have been replaced with biscuit leather ones and the drivers seat is perfect, which is rare for one of these.
It does need some finishing off to be 100% but it's not far off.

Yes chap the springs have been cut. I got a new set of front springs and top mounts for it (they come with the car) and was going to get a new pair of rear springs and start again without going over the top before I sold it but would rather take an offer and someone can decide for themselves how low they want it. Originally I planned to put it on air but as I said too many other things to finish first. On A roads it's fine it's only back roads and speed bumps that it struggles with.
There is a story behind the drop that does not tie in with the original owner who had the work done by West coast customs, but if anyone is interested in the car then I will explain the full story then.

i saw this and was very tempted but i already have a 124 project so have to persevere with that mines a 220TE estate
Good luck with it If i didnt have my 124 I would probably have bid but currently 4 mercs on the drive ( do you really need 4 cars she says )

It's got an mot it looks OK but ive not poked around that much under there. I can't see someone fitting 2 new wings and then spending £4500 to paint over a rusty chassis and floor pan though.
