Hello all,
Selling for a friend, an older gentleman, who is terrible with computers.
It's a 1991 Honda Civic EF. It's got the D14A1 dual carb engine mated to a 4 speed auto-box and it's done just under 88,000 miles. It's was his mother's car before him and it's been in the family for over 12 years.
It's a very tidy little car for it's age, and it mechanically it's solid. It gets serviced every year, and up until last week was being used daily (total of about 5-6k a year.)
It has had some welding done to the cills for last years MOT. It's not the most perfect job, but it is rock solid. It's been black hammerited on the lower sill and the rear quarter behind the doors has been brush painted. It looks fine from a distance, but up close it obviously isn't factory fresh. The car is MOT'd until Oct 2017. The bodywork is in overall good condition. There is small spot of rust coming through on the driver's side rear window and some small chips in the front (as pictured below)
Inside it's in very clean condition, save for some typical wear on the driver's seat bolster (pictured). It also has an aftermarket CD player fitted. The sunroof doesn't work but it's full closed and watertight.
There is very little wrong with this honest little car. Mechanically it's excellent, starting off the button with a little choke even on the coldest of mornings. Once warmed, it has a smooth and exceptionally quiet idle. The gearbox selects and shifts smoothly, and the engine pulls strong. It hasn't been used and abused like a lot of Hondas out there.
I'll let the photos speak for themselves, any questions feel free to ask!
Looking for £600ono, car is located Bellshill, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It's not far from the M74 motorway. I can assist in transport of the car at extra cost if need be, quoted on an individual basis.
Thanks for looking!
