Hi sadly selling my unfinished project, I need the money and the space, plus just don't have the time anymore.
Its a 1975 Hillman Hunter with a 1.8 Mazda engine, and T3 turbo strapped to it
No MOT for obvious reasons, it's an unfinished project...
First of all, I can't tell you how blood the shell is! I couldn't believe it when I took the carpets out! And doesn't look like its had any welding done either.
Some features:
-solid billet aluminum fuel rail
-external wastegate
-front mount intercooler
-lowered all round with brand new adjustable spax shocks
-mx5 dash instruments
-stainless braided fuel hoses
I have all the interior minus the carpets, sun visors and rear parcel shelf thingy.
There's been so much work put into this car, and if you look on the build thread on here, you'll see its all been done to the best standard I could
I also have a vast array of parts to go with it that still need fitting, things like a dump valve, intake pipes, dash board, engine sensors, etc...
Some pics (it won't be sold with the wheels as I have them on my daily now)
The build thread is: retrorides.proboards.com/thread/167430/1975-hunting-boost
The things it needs to get it going are:
-all the electrics need wiring up, and an engine loom made
-needs an ECU
-exhaust has a down pipe that goes under the car, but needs the rest making/fitting
-prop shaft from mx5 gearbox to hunter diff
-centre tunnel needs a plate made up where the gearstick comes through
-downpipe needs a by g welded in for the O2 sensor
I'm asking £2,000 for it. Please respect how much work has gone into it, I've spent about £6,500 so far!
I live in Peasedown St John, near Bath, BA2 8DT
The car is in a rented garage 2 miles down the road from my house
My number is 07972725351
Feel free to text me if you're seriously interested, just explain who you are and what you're texting about ha
Cheers
Craig Fowler
