Taking my boy for a couple of nights, staying on broad street because we want to go sea life centre, anything else to do that would suit us both?

Sealife centre is very good and not silly money entrance fee from memory

Plenty of lovely curry houses in brum.....its been years since I've been there in fact it's probably 18 years!....Cadbury world is a good place to take kids....if it's still there?

I don't know when you're going but there's generally something happening every weekend. Here's a few things that are an easy walk from each other. There's loads of construction going and some of the recent architecture is worth a look New Street, Selfridges, Mailbox so even just walking around you'll stumble across cool things New library is free and open on a Saturday. The top floor gives panoramic views across the city Museum of the Jewellery Quarter or the Coffin works if you want to see old cool fashioned Victorian factories www.coffinworks.org/Staffordshire Hoard at BMAG will blow your mind www.staffordshirehoard.org.uk/I haven't been but if your lad is into model making he'll love this place wonderfulworldtrainsplanes.co.uk/The ground floor of Thinktank is brilliant and has things like Railton Special Land Speed record car but entry is a little pricey in my view www.muttmotorcycles.com/bikes/ at the Custard factory BBC at Mailbox and the top floor of the Cube Craft Beer and Pinball at Tilt tiltbrum.com/and a little further out there's Oval racing at Birmingham Wheels on most Saturday evenings www.spedeworth.co.uk/incarace/fixtures.phpIf you want to drive out Gaydon, RAF Cosford, Tyseley Loco Works, Black Country Museum, Motorcycle Museum are all well worth a visit There you go, that should keep you busy and away from Legs Eleven  |
