been quite a while.. started with this in 2000:

hmm not much to show for 16 years!
-original 1198 engine
-some originality (non matching numbers now)
-non-welded status (21 year old self didn't garage, now solid again)
-few dings along the way
-now boasts five different shades of green.. on the fix list, at least i know there's not much filler.
+1500 cortina mk1 GT engine
+ashley 4-2-1 manifold
+electronic ignition
+stereo (hidden from view)
+suspension has magically got even lower.. probably need to go full gaz coilovers and do this properly at some point
ride can best be described as firm and bouncy..
so glad I never sold, even when the storage costs at one point were
nearly half my rent costs and I hadn't driven her for years.
So many good memories.
Someday she will be finished, but it doesn't matter when. Still feel privileged to own her.
