Well that’s a wrap on this year , 10 years to rebuild and done 600 trouble free miles , had it out for a last blast and met up with a friend in his recently restored one , both of us have owned these cars for over 12 years , odd to think that’s £80k’s worth of ford Sierras sitting there , worlds gone mad if you ask me Ha, I recognise that wee harbour! I used to stay just down the road in Kinneff. Car looks fantastic, not jealous in the slightest!!

Well after 900 miles the clutch finally stopped clutching ! The slipping clutch actually helped as I had to run the engine in and I have no self control what so ever so it slipping at anything near 20psi of boost was handy to be honest , but now she’s had new plugs , oil and filter , upped the boost and yup , I barely got it home it was slipping that bad , so how’s the time to rip it apart to fit the clutch and convert it to hydraulic release instead of cable , plus got a roller bearing mount to replace the plastic lower steering column mount It spent 10 years off the road so kills me to take it apart but needs must E30 bmw slave cylinder , had to add some material onto the side of the bellhousing for another bolt to mount it Still need to mount the master cylinder on the bulkhead witch I’ll do this week then box and new clutch can go in In the mean time I’ve been using this for work as I’m classed as a key worker
