Quick question don't know if this is in the right section. Would anyone class a suzuki samurai as a retro motor, they are of age they have got some of the similarities of other retro cars but have they got to much of a dirty cheep 4x4 following to be classed as retro.

Long wheel base is definitely interesting on its rarity basis, it's cool enough to be on here regardless of weather you think it's 'retro'. I'd like to see someone do something interesting to a LWB. *hint hint*

Cheers guys that good to hear. I brought one about 6 months ago and have just started working on it. Will have to start a build thread. My plans will be something down the lines of a 1.5td tuned to about 140 / 150 bhp

Had one of these way back when, i always thought the lines were better than the SWB, Deffo retro in my book
