MAKE: 1992 Mazda MX5 1.6 Eunos MOT: MOT Expired July 2015 LOCATION: Chinnor / Thame OX39 MILEAGE: 198,000 KMS - 123,000 MILES V5: YES PRICE: £300 ono Hello I am selling this MX5 1600 Eunos on behalf of a friend who has had this sitting in his yard for at least 18 Months, it was to be turned into a track day Car but instead it's turned into a Car Park space taker! I say project as in my mind its good for the engine and box, loom, diff, ecu, wheels, gearbox etc or strip it and part it out, its not pretty but looking through the History it has had some love in the past, anyway I will let the pictures do the talking. The following has been pointed out by a fellow RR'r
This looks like an S Special which is a bit .. well special !
1992 JDM edition,in classic red with BBS wheels and yellow strut brace from the factory.Should also have factory Bilsteins,LSD and uprated ARB along with a leather rimmed Nardi wheel.

S specials make great bases for charged 5's.
Centre caps are worth minimum £25 each on a side note.
S-special spec:
An even sportier version of the Eunos with uprated suspension and a limited slip differential.
Introduced in July 1992 with the 1.6 engine and in July 1993 with the 1.8 engine.
Colours: Originally offered in either Classic Red or Brilliant Black though Laguna Blue (1.8 only) and Chaste White were later offered.
Black cloth seats and black trim. Nardi leather-rimmed steering wheel with matching leather gearknob. Stainless steel sill tread plates.
14" BBS alloy wheels, upgraded suspension including Bilstein shock absorbers and thicker anti-roll bars and yellow engine bay strut brace.
If someone was buying this for the drive train, they could sell off the parts on this for more than the purchase price so could be a bargain to the right person. GLWTS

I keep coming back to this, especially as I drive through Chinnor a couple of times a week at the moment.
Realistically, how bent is it( as in are the OSR suspension points still where they should be / doors close and latch etc) as I'm looking for a long term project that'll improve my welding skills but don't want to get into having to jig wonky chassis rails etc ?

It's not structurally bent just had a fight with something that has ripped the side, you could have it as a project and weld a bit of metal or panel in then decide what to do with it, you could break it for more if you wanted. I'm selling for a friend like me has no desire to do that but just to move it on so maybe an offer?
