Bad points
the car has been off the road or a number of years and will need some work. both rear arches need welding. I'm pretty sure that all the tyres need replacing due to cracks, but do hold air for transportation/storage. when i got it both rear brake flxi hoses were split, i have replaced these but the hardlines also need replacing, ideally the whole braking system could do with a overhaul due to long its sat for. The battery on the car isn't much good and doesn't fit in the hole properly, but it is good enough to show the car running. the back box is holed. the sticker with the numbers on is pealing off the speedo. There is no log book with the car, my friend who i bough it off put it in his name when he got it but has since lost it so the buyer will need to apply for a new one, a receipt will be given.
Good points
Its a futuristic 80's turbo hot hatch. It's a manual. The head lights pop up and down as they should. The info centre seems to work as it should. The engine runs fine. Other than the arches the car looks solid. The interior is in good condition. It's converted to front height adjustable coilovers, rear has lowering springs and adjustable dampening shocks, I also have some height adjustable platforms to go on but I haven't gotten around to fitting them yet. I'm also part way through making the panhard rod adjustable (I'll be finishing this and the rest of the suspension before the sale).
This is a good base for a project and would look amazing slammed on some dished wheels, which was always my plan, but as always life and other projects get in the way. It does need work and isn't a 'weekend and done' kinda project, but it certainly isn't a big project either. I'm not interested in breaking it so don't bother asking for parts.
I can get more info and pics on request.
