Up for sale is my 1995 Saab 9000 2.0 Turbo CSE in Metallic Black with Light Leather interior. I've had a change of plans, hence the sale.
THE GOOD:
My car, registered to me and my current address
HPI clear
182,000 miles
MOT EXPIRY JUNE 2017
Manual gearbox
16" genuine Super Aero wheels with centre caps
B206E LPT 150 bhp engine with no mods.
Lesjofors lowering springs
Super rare CS Bridge spoiler
Full electrics: Sunroof/windows/mirrors etc all working
Ice cold climate control
Starts and drives as it should. 5th gear selection needs a bit of extra elbow.
Brand new Hertz front speakers, good brand rear 6x9's. Electric aerial. My tape head unit will not be part of the sale if I get time to remove it.
Single electrics towbar, not tested.
THE BAD:
Remote central locking can be intermittent. Might just be low remote battery. 1 remote fob, 3 normal keys.
EML light on - has been for many years. Previous owner says he had it checked and likely to be lambda sensor. No issues with the drive or emissions for MOT test.
Rear bulb failure warning light on. Bulbs are completely fine.
THE UGLY:
Paint finish is flat, needs a bloody good polish
A great selection of chips, scratches and a couple of bumper scuffs. Its 20 years old.
Rear hatch reflector plate is cracked
Saab 9000's are becoming very rare now, especially Turbo manuals. These engines are bulletproof and respond well to remapping. Stage 1 sees 210 bhp with a standard exhaust. My car would be a great rolling project for its next owner, and has probably the most desirable OE Saab alloys along with 'find another' CS Bridge spoiler.
My asking price is based upon my estimate of what the car breaks for, but I don't have the time or space. No part exchanges please, as I have another car. I am based in Northampton, approx 15 mins from M1 J15.
