Bit gutted to be doing this, but needs must! We bought this to replace the Eunos my wife had. The reason being that we would be able to fit our new arrival in the back, and the pram in the boot. However, no matter how hard I try to convince myself that the pram fits... it doesn't! So up for sale it goes 😭
Good bits:
It's a very well specced car:
Finished in blue steel metallic with two tone blue leather, M sport leather steering wheel and gear knob, A/C, traction control, dual zone climate control, one-touch full open/close glass, power hood... it really is lovely.
It's in wonderful original condition. The rear arches show very few blemishes (they normally rot like crazy) and it wears, as far as I can tell, original paintwork. I'll get close up shots. When the local BMW mechanic looked it over, he was really pleased with it, and complimented it on it's condition.
It drives straight, sounds wonderful, and pulls like an absolute train.
It's in generally great condition, and gets lots of positive comments when out and about. Genuinely sad to have to sell this!
The wheels are mint, the interior is excellent, and it's been very reliable. In fact it's been faultless in all the time we've owned it (about 12 months I think). It's used daily so the mileage will go up.
Points to mention:
The power hood works quickly and effortlessly, although if parked on an incline the C panel sometimes glances the lower roof section as it lowers. Although it's not done it for a while and it doesn't affect the operation. There's a tiny little bit of play in one of the brackets. I'm sure it can be tightened up if you have a play. It hasn't bothered us and we use it every time the sun comes out!
The inner roof lining is in generally good condition, but the taught string that keeps it tight as it lowers doesn't do it's job. There are a couple of small tears at the back due to this and it's a little floppy at the back. I'll attempt to tighten it up for the new owner.
There is a small dent in the passenger door (about a fingertip's width), and a 4 inch vertical scratch on the driver's door.
Water pump bearing is just beginning to rumble a little.
I'm going to give it a full valet in the next few days and get some more pics up. The price is negotiable as we've bought our replacement.. reader's rides thread to come
You can call or text me on: oh seven 58 four 2 four 3 3 eleven It's still in daily use and insured so if you're quick I can take you for a spin in it, but we're aiming to insure it's replacement in the next week or so. It's not on the private plate anymore, by the way.
