Greetings all,
I've just saved a T plate Polo 1.6 Estate from going the distance as , although knowing next to nothing about them, it just seemed wrong.
The car has a genuine - as detailed on MOT history check - 34k miles. Elderly owner for over 14 years.
The good is that the interior is arguably mint (and I offer that description as a professional car detailer)
I started to tidy up the paint and corrected and polished it to a very presentable standard without starting to look at any repainting or touching in. The bumpers have been affectionately used for touch parking and each corner has a reasonable graze!
The blue paint all checks out as pretty original in depth and finish. It sports a few characterful grazes if you set about looking for them.
Car has long MOT and been recently serviced.
I'm not expecting to be told that this car is the holy grail of the VAG scene, but will be interested to see what kind of value folk suggest on it. In time it will become a canditate for air bags and all the other tricks and looks of the VW scene.
Thanks all
