Good morning all,
I've always had a hankering after a Capri, so after a few years of Reliant Scimitar ownership I'm looking at doing some work on a metal car!
I bought this car about a year ago with no v5 and a few other car projects on the go, so I've resisted the temptation to start the Capri project and waited till I had the v5 in my hand and some more spare time. With that, here I am!
It's a White 2.8i with a brooklands leather interior in good condition, but the bodyshell has seen better days around wings, arches and sills. Shock tops, door hinges and floor pans seem OK! I had to try and start the car when I first got it, just out of curiosity, so as soon as I took delivery of the car I had to strip out a retrofitted thatcham alarm and fit a new starter. Sure enough though, she runs lovely and drives (ish)!
It will have a full strip down and rebuild and I intend to document my progress on here!
