Here's the next money pit I've purchased.
It's a 1996 Volvo 850 T5 Estate in polar white mmmmmm
It has electeic front windows and an electric sunroof!
It"s an ex Police pursuit car. It's a manual amd the engine is sweet as nut but it has it's issues. It has avery good service history and is solid as a rock and goes like stink.
The odometer has stopped at 182k. I checked previous MOTs and it's stopped at some point in the last 2 years. I'm either going to replace the binnacle or the actual gears in the odometer unit.
The rear suspension needs new trailing arm bushes and probably shocks. The ABS module needs sorting as the ABS and TCS lights are on.
The front suspension needs new bushes and trackrod ends.
Body-wise I'll be mopping it and refurbing the wheels. It's a nice rolling tidy up project to keep me occupied.
