I reckon that £320 is pretty good for anything with a year's ticket on it, so a retro low-mileage marina coupe has gotta be good value!! As for what can be done, there was an in-depth debate on various options last week, in case you missed it: click here for marina stuff

That sounds like a good deal to me...torsion bar(front)/leaf spring (rear) suspension means lowering isn't too difficult, there's plenty of options wheel wise (Triumph Spitfire/Herald/Dolomite, Maestro/Montego, Rover Metro/200, MGF - 4 x 3.75" pcd) and the engine bay was built to take an 1800 B series as standard....the Aussies got a straight six in some of theirs! Sounds good to me!

I really like Marina coupes. The only thing I find a bit odd about them is the dorrs loom to short...are they the same doors as the front ones on a four door or something?
I always wanted to fit the early split grille into a Marina and hid the headlights behine covers, Pontiac GTO style ;D

hey guys... thanks RMAD !! eddie (ratdat) ive got the split grill for mine (came with one originally) and yeah i thought the same... i saw a hydraulic headlamp swivel unit from a charger at a mopar meet, that would have been mint!! (far too much work tho) add-on covers tho... hadnt thought of that !? just for the daylight hours. did you see the "Generally" that PC did - they just added striped tape i think to darken them. my dad may be parting with his rover 214 soon so either nicking the engine for a mod or driving that while i improve mine seems like it may eventually be on the cards . . .
