Hi Everyone.
This is my 86 XJ6, Regent grey over red interior with factory wire wheels. This is my second XJ6 and certainly the cleanest...
Got plans to convert her to UK spec- Fit the larger low beams and tuck the bumpers back in.
I'll also need to replace the wood as the lacquer has failed in the north american summer heat. That'll be a fun job!

Hey lecxj6, that surely is a pretty Jag. Lovely condition & colour. About the only slight detraction, is your US spec rubber bumpers, somewhat spoiling the lines - but hey, health & safety - what can you do ? Really suits the wire wheels too. Not seen a late model on wires. Keep us informed, as to how she goes.

I actually lucked out and found some nos euro spec bumper brackets to replace the front bumper shock absorbers that push the bumper out that far. The rear I plan to just drill and compress the shocks. This is the second xj6 I've had with wires, not everyone's cup of tea but I love them against the grey. Cheers,

Love the fact big ungainly US spec bumpers had to be fitted for safety but they appear to allow the pedestrian shredder 'hood' emblem Personally not a fan of wire wheels on this age of car but my opinion isn't worth squat, its your car. Lovely car otherwise.
