As the title says, really.
I bought a 309 a few months ago, it was a steal at £250, fairly high mileage at 196k, but it's a non-turbo diesel so it's no biggie. Recently the water system was pressurising and the brakes started to be a little bit on the curse word side, so it currently sits in my dad's driveway waiting for me to stop by every week and do a little bit to it in between going to work and other responsible adult stuff (I'm not in a hurry as I have a car to use in the meantime).
Pretty much, I'm looking to treat it a little bit for when it comes back out, nothing special, just painting the bumpers and grille black and stuff, giving it a clean etc.
Does anyone have any cheap or free ideas to make it look a little bit nicer?
It's on some Saxo VTR wheels at the moment as I thought they looked a bit nicer and my 106 isn't finishing itself in a hurry!
Also I like how the roof bars look on it, so at the risk of sacrificing much-loved MPG figures, I might get a ramshackle roof rack together out of whatever bits are lying around.
Here are a couple of photos of the beast itself
Any feedback is welcome, including if you think something looks rubbish!
