i thought that as long as u keep ur drive shafts as horrizontal as poss then they'l be ok?
stiffer bump stops sounds like a goo idea if u ask me

I'm thinking about different bumpstops, I'm sure there are alternatives out there. Poly ones seem to be the way to go. I'll look into that.

  Did the fronts today. Spent most of yesterday sorting sheared bolts  It's got about an inch of clearance at the lowest point (exhaust), and many test drives later, the ride is surprisingly civilised! It must be those 80 profile tyres. I'm happy with it, the ride isn't as soft as before and I have to constantly scan the road ahead for potential exhaust-destroying bumps, but what the hell. I might chop another half a coil off the fronts at a later date, but it sits even front to rear. From some angles it looks like the back is much lower but I reckon that's just the lines of the bodywork and arches. All pretty much set for the RR show now!  |

Although I'm planning to put my alloys back on as soon as I manage to collect them, and I'll need new tyres for those. This'll do for now though, might try to sort the exhaust tomorrow as I can't see it lasting long like this! |
