I have a few minor rust spots on a couple of my cars. I would like to put a halt to it getting any worse before I've had chance to acquire a welder and learn to use it.
I have heard that primer is water permeable and thus it probably isn't a good idea to strip the paint and rust off, spray with primer and leave it out in all weather. Is there any good short term solution to stop it getting any worse without having to completely re-paint it?
