Afternoon Guys.
Due to a change in my circumstances, I have lost all of my unit space as they are being demolished, so my DC2 project has to go (it's sat on my angry mother's drive!)
I planned to K swap this, And got it all stripped down. There is pretty much the full car left MINUS engine/box/shafts/manifold/recaros.
1996 96 spec JDM CW Dc2
!05,000 Miles (verified in paperwork) Clocks have been changed for UKDM clocks (receipt with proof)
Lowered on Eibach springs
282mm front brakes with grooved discs. Unknown pads (stopped well)
I have all the paperwork
V5 present
Once stripped I found two holes in each of the footwell's (see photo's) Bar that it is a tidy shell. Rear arches are good (one bleb, see photo's)
Inner rear wings are as clean as each of my previous teg's. It just needs the holes in the footwell repairing. I only noticed these once I pulled the carpet up and had a dig with the screwdriver. I dare say quite a few tegs have this issue nowadays.
Things that will need replacing:
- I cut the front brake lines off (was going to replace)
- Dash has been taken out to try remove the clifford intellistart system. I have removed 2/3's of this and have cut NO WIRES.
- Front brake calipers are stripped and ready for new seals. Pots all cleaned up.
- The car had aftermarket HID's, these have been removed. May need to wire the OE system back in? I didn't get this far.
- NO front strut brace.
- the storage area in the unit leaked - the box which has the seatbelts in suffered, they will need a good clean.
I have all of the parts in a vast array of cardboard boxes in my loft. What it really is, is a big JDM jigsaw puzzle in it's present state.
Bodywork is tidy, Front/rear bumpers will have scuffs due to being stored, the front lip was due a re paint anyway, it is scuffed.
Lights, grill, skirts, Front/rear bumper, all present.
All carpets and interior are available (no mats)
I really do not want to sell this car but I have no choice, My mother wants her drive back and I'm struggling to find some more unit space.
Anyone is welcome to come and view the car, have a nosey around.
Price? I have no idea. I know i'm going to lose a lot of money on this but there is nothing I can do, I do not have the space to break it, nor do I really want to, it's a perfectly save-able DC2.
Located in Lincolnshire, My email is bombercountynick@yahoo.co.uk. Phone number 07795191753. Please email/text me and I can call back on my mrs phone as my £10 nokia brick's speaker has given up the ghost.
I know in pieces this could make over a grand.
£800.
