Imported and registered in the UK August 2015. Its tax exempt and has 12 months MOT. I purchased this car in April 2015 from a private seller in California. The car was built in California and has lived there for all of its known life. The car was restored and built to its current spec approximately 15 years ago. I have a little bit of history, some photos etc. from the seller and have been in touch with the previous owner who completed the work.
In May 2015, I went over to the states to collect this car with a friend. We spent 4 weeks driving approximately 5000 miles across the states from California to Florida. The car has been up mountains, down Death Valley, through deserts, at altitude in New Mexico, cruised the strip in Vegas and driven across Texas nonstop on the interstate. It performed faultlessly with one exception, a collapsed rear axle bearing that was rebuild on route. At the end of the trip we dropped the car at the docks in Georgia and imported it back into the UK. We kept a blog going during the trip…

It landed in Southampton in last August, taxes were paid and it was promptly registered with the DVLA and the necessary work completed to make it road legal. The car had a short feature in the January 2016 issue of Classic American Magazine and since then has since occasional fine weather use and is dry stored.
I wouldn’t hesitate to jump in this and drive anywhere, I’ve recently been to Devon for the weekend. Just checked the fluids before I left and jumped in.
Engine/Transmission
Small block 350ci.
Rebuilt around 15000 miles ago with.
9.5:1 pistons.
Street performer cam with Rhodes lifters.
Edelbrock 600CFM carb.
Edelbrock Performer manifold.
Hedman exhaust manifolds.
Xlerator performance exhaust with side exits.
Electronic ignition (GM HEI).
Large aftermarket aluminum radiator.
TH350 3 speed transmission with a manual shift kit. The gearbox is quiet and well behaved and has a radiator plumbed in.
Unsure of the rear end gearing but more cruising than acceleration.
The car always starts and never missed a beat either in the states or since being back in the UK.
Bodywork
Painted red 15 years old and is very presentable. Has one subtle ding in the RNS quarter and a few minor imperfections commensurate with age and use.
Hand painted grey/black pinstripes down the sides and on the tailgate.
Bodywork is solid with no rust. It has had a few repairs on the inner skins behind the rear arches at some point.
Chassis is absolutely solid and puts my other cars half its age to shame. No holes and no crusty bits.
All external aluminum trim is in place and cleans up well. Some of the trim around the rear bed shows signs of use from when it was someones workhorse.
Chrome in excellent condition.
Rear bed has been lined.
Interior/Electrics
New bench seat.
New door cards.
New headlining.
New carpets.
Custom aluminum door furniture.
New complete wiring loom.
Dashboard clock is temperamental.
Speedo stopped working in the USA. I picked up a new cable in the states but haven’t fitted it, will be included with the car.
No blower controls due to HIFI. The rest of the system still appears to be fitted with control cables, heater matrix, air con condenser etc. all still in place.
Custom HIFI installation with a screen, 4 components and two subs. The subs and amps are behind the seat and are not included in the sale (open to negotiation). The car will be sold with a complete working system complete with head unit and the four front speakers.
Suspension/Brakes
Polished stainless Cragers 15x7 front, 15x8 rear.
Front disks, rear drums (no power assistance).
Power steering.
KYB front shocks, Gabriel air adjustable at the rear.
Recent Work
Rear axle rebuild (axles, bearings, seals, brake shoes, fluid).

Comes with a new dashboard inset panel.
Comes with a workshop manual/parts catalogue.

Any questions drop me a line. The car is in Hampshire and I'm happy to assist with getting it somewhere else in the country or abroad.
