So, I'm not sure whether I would want to sell this just yet, but depending what people think it's worth I might go for it.
It's a 1997 Volkswagen Golf mk3, 1.4 engine and reasonably nippy.
I bought it mainly because it's a small engined, cheap to run car, that is white, has 3 doors and no sunroof, and therefore one less problem to worry about.
It has its battle scars, paintwork isn't perfect but is unnoticeable when on the move, it really turns heads.
I was going towards the 90's kind of look with this, hence the TSW Venoms in 4x100, 17x7, very hard size and fitment to get hold of, 195/40/17's which have covered around 1200 miles too, so very new.
No service history which is how I got it, but I'd like to say it speaks for itself.
136k on the clock, MOT until November 2016.
Lowered on FK coilovers all round, still very comfortable, this is my family/daily car so it had to be reasonably sensible.
Interior is as basic as the engine, but everything works as it should.
All in all, a perfect first car or just something to have a laugh with.
And apparently it's good enough for a show stand as shown below.
Here's a few photos;
Any input would be much appreciated, good or bad.
Thanks, Dan.
