Following a thread on HUKD (now gone) I did what they said and found/bought new OE front discs for my 9000 for £7 a pair, and shoes for £3. You need an amazon account, and to add a car to their 'garage' here www.amazon.co.uk/gp/part-finder/garage/ref=au_pf_as_ygIt's completely random as to what is available, but I just found a brake master cylinder for my e30 for less than a tenner. www.amazon.co.uk/wishlist/125KOHBEP0UVZ/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_wlp_vCWWL.9TWE06CI don't need this at the moment, but for that price I grabbed one anyway - Amazon tend to let you have stuff if this is a mistake on their part too.... Have a look. Add car to garage and change the sort to price low to high.  |

Very weird , it will be very interesting as to what you get and what the quality is . I might be getting a Honda civic tomorrow and a quick look shows i can get a CV joint for £7 !

just found a pair of brake drums for under £4, fitted rubber mats for £6 and a moulded boot liner for a fiver

Thanks for that ive just ordered 3 air filters, rotor arm, brake shoes, wheel bearing kit, full head gasket set, water pump, set of ngk plugs and a timing belt for 50 quid...

For my Fiat 127 I just bought a Marelli radiator for £10.68, a set of NGK leads for £3.50, a new TRW master cylinder for £9, a pair of Brembo drums for £9.48, a water pump for £5.07, and a pair of TRW front struts for £8.67 each. I won't need any of these until I weld the thing back together, but proper bargains and far cheaper than ebay.

My discs turned up and are perfect, as did the cabin air filter, oil filter, hatch strut and clutch master - all for under £20. I guess people haven't thought of using amazon for car parts - I ordered via prime and got free delivery - must of cost more than that to deliver.
