They weren't a tremendously good car which meant they didn't do stellar sales & people didn't bother paying to fix them. Consequently they're all but extinct on UK roads.

I had one 'back in the day' just about killed my Wife due to understeer and the tappets never stayed adjusted for more than 100 miles. No happy memories attached to that one. |
