Does anyone have any close ups of the engine bay of this car? (Or any other Viva's with 16v conversions) ![](http://www.vauxhallviva.com/gallery/billing/billing%202005/images/dscn1049.jpg) I ideally need a picture of the engine mounts and bulkhead clearance.

Thanks Tigran. Just as I thought, looks like they've removed the heater box completely and made an entirely flat bulkhead.

This is possibly of absolutely no use to you but my fiat twam engine is fitted in without loss of heater box, i reckon its slightly shorter than the vauxhall engine though....the two photos below show front and rear clearances - might help give you an idea?? : ![](http://img2033.photobox.co.uk/75500805d4b8a2cce9524e53b36ed96fb9329c43ccf556017824c481fbfa324f51bc16ce.jpg) ![](http://img2072.photobox.co.uk/19636631a9b2c62cc3fb9e45f1a75dcd444b7abe54e6a58da21bb3e1e6e439ef0cf27501.jpg)

Thanks for the pictures. Unfortunately the problem is not the actual engine block or head, it's the cam sensor unit. As this picture sort of shows: ![](http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a248/retrocarclub/Viva/Exhaustmanifold001.jpg)

Yeah my Viva heater isn't too bad, even with the large amounts of broken glass I found in it! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Thanks for your responses. I cut a little bit more out of the heater box panel yesterday and now I think I've finally got it. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

did no one hear me?!
remount the diz and drive it off the cambelt
like a CIH

My engine's a later dizzyless XE so its the cam sensor that gets in the way. So remounting isn't an option and IMO it looks a bit curse word.
