Bought this on here from terribleoness as a stop gap until my M140 arrives. Well... it arrives next week so its time to sell this. Its a great car, supremely reliable with buckets of character. Not sure if its just the fact it has a huge fuel tank but gets 450miles or so to a tank of fuel.
119,000 miles, Stacks of history, serviced at the start of the year. Runs and drives great. almost entirely rust free, only a few VERY small bits. Interior in generally in very good condition. All four windows work and the electric sunroof also works. Dash, CD and the dual zone temp control all work. One digit on the mileage is a bit dodgy though. Tyres are all different but all legal with some tread on them. MOT until september. Wheels are in good condition.
As with all old cars, it has some faults. The main thing being the paint. The lacquer has started to go on the roof and the boot. It looks like bad scratches but i've been told its the lacquer. It does improve with a polish but it'll never be fixed without paint. The drivers seat has some holes in it but an entire interior can be had for £2-300. Also there is a bit of trim missing from the passenger side rear door card. Again, these can be had for £50 or so if you are that way inclined. Also there is a knock from the suspension but I do have a control arm that I was given by the previous owner that should cure it. I just havent had the time to do it!
Also comes with a few other spares he gave me. New BMW badges, a new header tank (nothing wrong with the old one but its discoloured) and a fuel filter.
Asking £995 but open to offers. Its a bloody awesome car and I'll be sad to see it go. Prices on these seem to be on the up and it wouldn't cost a lot to get this one up to a very good standard.
and some pictures (Shamelessly stolen from terribleoness original advert as his are MUCH better than mine -Hope you don't mind!!)
