Hi all, I guess the thread title say it all really.. I'm in the market for a new mig welder that will handle heavy duty welding and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on this Draper 180amp Mig welder as they seem to be a good price.. Yes I will be using gas not flux cored wire :-D Draper 180amp Mig welder link.. Clicky here.

Ideally I need something that can stitch 5mm plate together.. It's not often I need to weld steel that thick but there are times it's the only steel for the job.
I'm also thinking about a Sealey SuperMig 180, anyone had any good or bad views on them?

Had a sealey 180 for about 20years (used pretty much daily for 10 of those too). Does everything you want it too.

Morning all, well at long last I have got a decent Mig welder that can do heavy duty welding unlike my old Sip Migmate... A big thank you to Karl and he's racing mower mates who picked it up and delivered it to me yesterday. I've no real idea what some of the knobs do, but I'm sure I will find out
