My summer daily - lovely bit of kit - drives like a floaty Mcfloaty thing lovely patina (faded paint!) (cracked leather interior!) needs the kickdown fiddling with and the exhaust rattles but i will try and sort these niggles this week i am in gloucestershire mot for another 10 months..... come and have a look    |

I bought it 7 months ago from a mate to save him from the dreaded ebay !!
I am planning a new business so have to raise as much cash as possible - hence the reason for selling my 2 landrovers (sold) race transporter lorry and the rover as well as a few other toys.
It is a proper daily driver and I have done almost 3,000 miles going backwards and forwards to work (3 miles each way) plus taking the mrs shopping - she loves it !

I'm sorry to say it but unfortunately this car has met an untimely end in the hands of joyriders - the car was found burnt out a few miles from where it was parked near Reading. Real shame, it was a lovely old thing and didn't deserve such a fate  |

You're not wrong there! I think someone has learned how to steal cars and has been on something of a crime spree, I have lived/worked in the area for 10 years and never seen a burnt out car but in the last few months I have personally had 2 cars barbecued and know of 3 others in the area. A 15 year old was recently caught in the same village who had stolen a forklift from Reading and gone on a 2 hour rampage, tipping a car over and threatening people with an air rifle - I wonder if it was him? It's the needless destruction that gets me, also due to the 2 claims (losing me 6 years no claims bonus) insuring a car is no longer something I can afford at my age. Life can be testing at times!
