Due to change in circumstances, I have no spare time so I'm selling my Model A...
All steel Murray body, was originally a 5 door sedan but previously converted to a sedan delivery and chopped by an unknown amount. Comes with:
Original steel fenders and running boards
Dash
Radiator
Bonnet and sides
Headlight bar
Headlights
New Bonnet catches
Good condition firewall band
Screen surround
Side windows
Various other bits n bobs.
Original wood body-chassis subframe removed and replaced with steel, needs a bit of work to finish.
TCI chassis kicked up at the rear, gearbox crossmember fitted with ladder bar mounts incorporated, New TCI engine mounts fitted and bulked up.
Small block Chevy and Powerglide box. Currently being used for mock up is a 307 which is only really any good as a mock up motor as its had water sitting in it for some time. I got the gearbox as unknown and haven't stripped it so I'm selling it on as unknown.
Included is a nice 350 short block with 4 bolt mains, on standard size bore, standard size mains on crank and -10 big end journals, the intention was to build this up for when the car is built.
Weiand Tunnel Ram intake with 2 600cfm Holleys in need of rebuild.
Newly built heavy duty 9 inch Ford Rear axle on Jag/chev PCD with new housing tubes, new Strange bearing housings, new Strange 31 spline half shafts and new Moser bearing clamps. Comes with an empty large bearing 3rd member ready for gears. Brake backplates and brakes supplied but will want the drums as the drums I have are wrong PCD.
New Coilovers and newly built and powdercoated ladder bars with solid ends at the axle and bushed stainless rod ends at the chassis.
Straight tube front end from 2" x 1/4" CDS with new spring, shackles and clamp. New 40 Ford repro spindles with Superbell steering arms, New Pete and Jakes Stainless 4 bar kit locating the front end. Panhard rod made and mounted at chassis end, axle end bracket still to do. New discs fitted on Jag/Chevy PCD.
New Vega steering box with all new rod ends and steering linkage from the box to the wheels.
Newly made steering column with Stainless surround, 1" CDS shaft with machined end welded on for steering joint, new black Grant steering wheel with quick release boss. New Stainless steering joints.
New brake master cylinder
New aluminium radiator
Pair of very nice Aluminium low back bucket seats, believed to be from a 50's Alfa race car covered in the original red leather. New supporting frame fabricated and fitted on sliding rails.
