I'm not up on EuroStar, I thought it just went London to Paris, like the EuroTunnel does Folkstone to Calais. :/ Yes, it's much more expensive to go to Toulouse. I wonder if the local trains from Calais to Toulouse would be cheaper? It also goes to Brussells and elsewhere, as I recall. I vaguely recalled that if you buy a Eurostar ticket you get the onward part of your journey from Gare Du Nord in Paris on any TGV train for free (or included). Anyway, cars, not trains. Yes you do, living in Kent & travelling on business into Europe I have done this quite a few times. European trains are heavily subsidised by the state so are very cheap.
