Very little I'm afraid and what little there is not too enthralling. Swapped the parking locations of the Aerosedan and the Suburban before winter set in, as the Aero has new brakes whick I didn't want ruined due to not being on hard standing. We did have some visitors in October though... On a slightly more positive note, my plans for 2019 should allow for more car time, however let's not count our chickens just yet.

And then..... As if by magic, it was Christmas, cars swapped around and the Suburban was the centre of attraction. Note the creative hard standing under and around the wheels. With bark cammo.

Road trip with craigrk and his son Kyle to fetch a straight Chevy Straight 6 260ci motor, auto box and rear axle from a '53 Chevy truck to go into one if his three cars. The 47 Aerosedan or his wifes 49 or his 50 pickup truck. Off to Colchester in Essex by 07.30 to meet them in Dartford and then onward. The snow started just after I left home. By the time we met....... Craigs new to him 4x4 Ranger. Slowly got more whited out. And speeds reduced quickly to below 50mph. Happy days. As we progressed the speed dropped right down to stop and start and an average of 25mph max. Saw a lot of carnage and slippy stuff and cars in ditches with black ice. But unable to stop on the motorway to change to high range four wheel drive despite trying on the fly. Then from nowhere With traffic as slow it was we took more than an hour longer than planned by Satnav. Got there. Loaded Teenager waiting while we looked at Barry the selkers stuff. So the Ranger now has to find a new home as I need to find a small, cheap, manual car for my 17 year old son to learn to drive in. Those of you following my exploits will know that none of our other vehicles are suitable (the closest fit being my wife's 2-series, but that is an automatic). Just popped it up on eBay, need to get it gone asap due to lack of storage and insurance running out next Sunday.

I bought your Volvo 960 estate years ago..... quite fancy the Ranger, but it's the usual story with lack of space etc....

that would be a nice chassis for a conversion wouldn't it? That was one of the thoughts when I bought it. Dez has used a newer 2WD chassis under his ‘30-something Ford Pickup. SWMBO though has declined as she wants a V8, hence the AMG!!

I bought your Volvo 960 estate years ago..... quite fancy the Ranger, but it's the usual story with lack of space etc.... What a small world!!! I would never have put that together, but just checked my emails, and there you are!!! I actually regretted selling that car a number of times. But as you will gather I do tend to change my dailies about annually.

in my defense the shotgun holes happened to be in that image...i wouldn't class them as a strict requirement for a cool ride!

Sometimes the stars aligning makes all the difference Well.... I created one. (A wagon) Craig really wanted a Radio Flyer based wagon to drag around autojumbles and bootfairs as well as other uses. Thank Last night Sally saw one listed on FB Marketplace for £15.00 which is crazy low, 22 minutes after it got listed. So we jumped on it from here and got craigrk onto it. Today he did a detour from London to Streatham to pick it up. Happy camper. Couple of stations. Little Red Wagon on an adventure. A road trip really. On the train. Standing room only. Back to Leatherhead and into the back of the AMG ML500 donor for the 50 Chevy truck. Happy wagon.

On the road by 06.30 Some slow bits…. Eventually nearly there. Meet Donna, she followed me all over, head on shoulder. Such a sweet horse. Eventually after unloading, a decent walk around and dicussing a ton of logistics, we headed home to Leatherhead and London. Back down South delivering the trailer to the yard it came from, a load of what is presumed to be a load of film props. .
